“I’ve worked as a psychiatric nurse for the past 12 years, most recently in utilization review. While utilization review isn’t hands-on nursing, it is a critical component in ensuring each Intermountain patient receives the financial support and care they need. It’s very satisfying for me to witness the positive changes in people during their stay at Intermountain. It is fulfilling to watch patients leave for home healthier and with the life skills they need to prosper in their daily life. Knowing I have played a role in their recovery is tremendously gratifying to me.”
